If you have symptoms of monkeypox

If you have symptoms, self-isolate and call your GP, local sexual health clinic or the NSW Sexual Health Infolink on 1800 451 624.

Outside of service opening hours, please isolate and follow the advice here to prevent spreading the infection to others.

It is best to call and not attend a health service in person. If you need to attend in person, wear a mask.
If it is out of hours and you are unable to contact the above services, please continue to isolate at home. Call one of the above services when they next open, and they will assess you and provide you with further advice. 

Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if your symptoms are severe and tell them you may have monkeypox.

Close contacts of monkeypox

If you have been in contact with a confirmed case of monkeypox, please call your GP, local sexual health clinic or the NSW Sexual Health Infolink on 1800 451 624 for further advice. Outside of service opening hours, please isolate and avoid close contact with others and contact one of the above services when they next open.
