Medicare Ineligible PrEP

PrEP, or Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis is a prevention medication used to reduce the risk of contracting HIV. If you are living in NSW and have no access to Medicare, you may be eligible for free PrEP.

People living in NSW who are not eligible for Medicare can now access free HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) through most publicly funded sexual health clinics.

If you are not linked with a publicly funded sexual health clinic - you may be eligible for Telehealth PrEP through SHIL.
